HPGE STEM Day 2026
Ten of our students proudly represented our school at Doonside Public School during the HPGE STEM Day, participating in a range of exciting STEM challenges, including circuitry activities, town planning to address El Niño weather events, and Sphero robot design and obstacle course races.
Congratulations to one of our teams whose innovative town planning solution was voted the overall winner!
Our students demonstrated outstanding collaboration, creativity and problem-solving skills throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school.
High Potential & Gifted Education Social-Emotional Immersion Day at Marayong South
Hosted by Mrs Colusso
High Potential & Gifted Education Social-Emotional Immersion Day provided students with the opportunity to further develop their social-emotional strengths, including self-management, empathy, leadership, communication and positive interactions with others.
Students participated in engaging escape room scenarios and other challenging activities designed to encourage problem-solving, teamwork, communication and creative thinking.
Through these evidence-based learning experiences, students were encouraged to challenge themselves, build confidence, develop a growth mindset and apply their talents in meaningful real-world contexts. This day supported students to extend their abilities, connect with like-minded peers and continue growing as capable, confident and compassionate learners.
Longneck Lagoon Leadership Day 2026
Our students had an incredible day at Longneck Lagoon, taking part in a fun and engaging Leadership Excursion!
We were so proud to see our SRC representatives and Sports Leaders step up, working together through a range of team challenges and activities. Throughout the day, students demonstrated fantastic communication, teamwork, resilience and leadership skills.
It was wonderful to watch their confidence grow as they supported one another, solved problems, and embraced every opportunity to lead. They also took home some valuable advice and strategies to help them continue developing as strong leaders within our school.
Youth Leadership Academy Australia, 'Dream & Lead Conference', at the International Convention Centre today with Mrs Colusso.
What an inspiring day for our young leaders, including our our School Captains, Vice Captains (with Kaven stepping in for Kiaan), and our First Nations Gulyangarri leader.
They heard from inspiring guest presenters, including Paralympian Ameera Lee and Jack Berne, the driving force behind "A Fiver for a Farmer', and explored what it means to lead with confidence, purpose, and heart.
We are so proud of how they represented our school and can’t wait to see them bring this inspiration back to our community!
Creative and Performing Arts Students Talent Show 2025
Wonderful performances from our very talented students. We are very proud of their effort and sharing their creative abilities with our school community!
